A little difficult to put together unless you have a saw. Honestly the power tool made all the difference. We also used wood glue to carry it together even more which I highly recommend. There was no harm to it as i received it however I really believe the table is a soft wood and I don't recommend writing together with it without something underneath, otherwise you might have indents in your table. It's beautiful though and I've received lots of compliments. It's way nicer to have the ability to face your guests and socialize this way than having half of a table against a wall and you also finish up eating and face a wall than face your guests. :)

This dining nook was absolutely perfect for our tiny little kitchen. Now us of four can finally sit together for us meals. It had been very easy to construct. Maybe took about an hour and 30 mins with many interruptions. We would've been done a lot sooner. I would recommend utilizing a drill to put it together. It'll cut down on your time. My kids have already spilled drink and food on the fabric and I have to say it's very easy to clean off with a small amount of Shout stain remover and paper towels. We think it's great.

Absolutely love this set! My dining area will be perfect after I purchase a rug to complete the appearance. Easy set-up utilizing a power drill. Great choose a very reasonable price! Received many compliments already.

Just as pictured. comfortably seats 4 of these DSR chairs. wasnt the easiest piece of furniture to put together but worth the difficulty. My advice to you is to attach the crossbar frame to underneath of the table first then Loosely hook up all the legs. then one by one attach the X braces loosely which means you have sufficient wiggle room to get them all on. then tighten everything up.Im an old lady with arthritis and Im half-blind and easily can do it you can certainly do it.
