No matter what shape you select for a table, you should allow at least three feet between the table edge and an obstruction such as a server or wall. This gives sufficient space for folks to move round the table, and in and out off their seats. On the other hand, more than six feet remaining between one wall or obstruction and the table means that the set is too small.
A sideboard is a table with a broad drawer in the center that is flanked by drawers and cupboards on the sides and is utilized for storing serving dishes and platters as well for serving food.A server is a shallow table with drawers. It is a surface to place food before it is placed on the table. Unlike the sideboard, a server does not have cabinets.
